The Assignment We all have different ways God speaks to and reaches us and makes us to understand His purpose for our lives. By experience I know God speaks to me by calling up a scripture inside me while I'm praying or seeking answers concerning issues. Most times these scriptures will become so real to me even though I’m praying on a different subject not related to that particular area. On September 1997, God said to me clearly while I was interceding on a very different subject: "Do the work of an evangelist. Make full proof of thy ministry." After I heard that voice within me, I later had to find where that scripture was written. Some years later, He made these scripture so real to me while in study. Isaiah 42:6-7. “I the Lord have called you in righteousness. I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, and a light for the gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison, and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness" There have also been various other encounters at different times where God strengthened his purpose for my life with one scripture or the other. |
